The Guardia di Finanza of Torre Annunziata (Naples) has executed a custodial order in prison, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Torre Annunziata at the request of the Oplontina Prosecutor's Office, against three people seriously suspected of illicit possession and sale of narcotic substances.
The investigations began following several arrests in flagrante delicto carried out by the financial police in June 2020, following which 195 grams of marijuana were seized. The installation of surveillance cameras near the home of one of the suspects made it possible to ascertain the existence of two drug dealing areas located, respectively, in the Annunziata and Provolera districts of the municipality of Torre Annunziata, the first attributable to the young CL and the second to the couple PF and FP. In particular, the investigations made it possible to reconstruct around a hundred episodes of sale of marijuana, cocaine and crack that would have occurred not only inside the homes of the suspects, but also on the street, through an "itinerant" drug dealing, by prior telephone appointment with the buyers.
During the investigation, 154 grams of cocaine and 317 grams of marijuana were seized, hidden inside a construction site near the home of one of the suspects in the Annunziata district. During the search, the financial police, using anti-drug canine units, found two bags of marijuana in the home of one of the suspects and, at the home of another suspect, the sum of 8.500 euros in cash, seized as it was believed to be the result of the illicit activity of selling narcotic substances.
At the end of the formal procedures, CL and PF were taken to the Neapolitan prison of Poggioreale, while FP, having emerged that she was the mother of a child under one year of age, was subjected to the precautionary measure of house arrest.
