Carabinieri checks in the nightlife of the Spanish Quarters and in Chiaia.
The military carried out an extraordinary check in the streets of the Spanish Quarters, in Chiaia, in the university area and in the port district.
During the operations, 3 young people were reported at large because they were found driving despite never having obtained a driving license and were repeat offenders in the two-year period.
In Chiaia – in via Salita Vetriera – the Carabinieri found and seized 62 doses of cocaine for a total weight of 30 grams. The drug, ready to be sold, was found in the condominium garden of a building.
But the anti-covid controls have not stopped. 4 people were fined for failure to comply with anti-contagion regulations. In the Spanish Quarters, the military fined 2 owners of as many establishments that allowed the consumption of food and drinks at the counter and outside tables to customers who did not have the required green card.
14 traffic fines and a scooter seized.
