The subsequent investigations, also using the GPS system installed for insurance purposes on one of the vehicles used by the gang, the telephone interceptions and the technical-scientific surveys conducted in collaboration with the Siena Investigative Unit, then led to the identification of the alleged perpetrators.
Evidence also emerged against one of these for an improper robbery that took place in Paliano di Frosinone, on March 10, 2021, in a car depot, a robbery in which one of the alleged participants in the Assisi robbery had already been arrested red-handed.
