The Covid curve in Italy is confirmed to be rising, having changed towards last week after a month and a half of decline.
The new cases are 60.191 (yesterday 22.083 but the data was conditioned as always by the few swabs on Monday) and above all the 46.631 cases of last Tuesday: a weekly increase of 29%. swabs processed are 531.194 (yesterday 188.274) with a positivity rate that drops from 11,7 to 11,3%. The deaths are 184 (yesterday 130): the total victims since the beginning of the pandemic I'm 156.201.
After yesterday's parenthesis, hospitalizations are starting to decrease again covid in Italy: intensive care units are 18 less (yesterday +7) with 50 admissions today, and total 592, while ordinary hospitalizations decrease by 213 units (yesterday +161) 8.776 in total. The region with the highest number of cases today is the Sicilia with 7.049 infections followed by Lombardia (+ 6.497), Lazio (+ 6.214), Puglia (+6.026) and Campania (+ 5.852).
The discharged/recovered in the last 24 hours are 57.408 (yesterday 30.513) for a total that rises to 11.941.805. The currently positive are growing again, 3.161 more than yesterday, reaching 1.011.521. Of these, 1.002.153 are in home isolation.
