In Italy the total cases of Covid since the beginning of the pandemic to date, they have exceeded 16 million (in detail, 16.008.181). This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. There are 73.212 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours, compared to 75.020 yesterday and 61.555 last Friday.
The swabs processed are 437.193 (yesterday 446.180), so the positivity rate stands at 16,7% (-0,1% compared to yesterday). Today's deaths are 202 (yesterday 166), for a total of 162.466 since the beginning of the pandemic. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.
Ordinary hospitalizations decreased by 155 units (yesterday +24) and became 10.076, intensive care units are 4 less (yesterday +2) with 46 admissions today, for a total of 411. The region with the highest number of cases today is Lombardy with 9.195 ahead of Campania (8.845), Lazio (7.341), Veneto (6.900) and Puglia (5.803).
The discharged/recovered in the last 24 hours are 73.233 (yesterday 59.916), for a total of 14.622.593, while the currently positive ones grow by 309 units (yesterday +15.913) rising to 1.223.122; of these, 1.212.635 are in home isolation.
