Thursday 30 June at 20.30 pm, in the garden of the S. Maria in Gerusalemme monastic complex, known as “Le Trentatré”, with the concert of Brew 4tet “Drops”, the Metaforme – le forme della musica review closes, a review of 4 events born from the collaboration between Dissonanzen and the atrium of the Trentatré, as part of the 'Campania è' project, promoted by Agis and the Campania Region.
With Metaforme Dissonananzen opens up to interesting projects by young musicians who, through different musical styles, almost always of jazz origin, share the practice of improvisation.
Brew 4et was born in 2016 from the desire to explore, through different timbres and instruments, the sound in its stratification and deposit through listening.
The passion for music and jazz has pushed the research of Giuseppe Giroffi on saxophones, Gianluca Manfredonia on vibraphone, Luca Varallo on double bass and Alex Perrone on drums to increasingly orient itself towards the creation of a sonic confusion in which tradition and contemporaneity mix lively, embracing a broad-spectrum musical culture that never ceases to be in contact with the essence and nature of sound. In 2018 they participated in various jazz festivals, Jazz Flirt Jazzlt Fest.
In 2021 they recorded their first album, entirely focused on unpublished compositions. In the same year they participated in the Val d'Agri Jazz Festival, finishing in second place and receiving the "Best Musician Award" of the event for the vibraphonist Gianluca Manfedronia. The band is currently working on their second album.
