Flop referendum on justice for which yesterday fifty-one million Italians would have had the right to vote.
The result of the consultation was in fact nullified. Even if the data collected they are not the final ones, it now appears clear that no more than 21% of the electorate went to the polls. In detail, at dawn today, when a handful of municipalities were missing from the roll call, the Viminale reported the following turnout data:
Question 1 (ineligibility after conviction): 20,72% Question 2 (limitation of precautionary measures): 20,69% Question 3 (separation of functions of magistrates): 20,70% Question 4 (lay members of judicial councils): 20,69% Question 5 (election of CSM members): 20,69%.
As for the results (which, it must be repeated, are null and void given the failure to reach the quorum), in all five cases the yes votes “won”. When over 50 thousand sections out of 61.569 had been counted, the “verdict” was as follows:
Question 1 (ineligibility after conviction): yes 55,07%, no 44,93% Question 2 (limitation of precautionary measures): yes 57,38%, no 42,62% Question 3 (separation of functions of magistrates): yes 76,01%, no 23,99% Question 4 (lay members of judicial councils): yes 74,17%, no 25,83% Question 5 (election of CSM members): yes 74,79%, no 25,21%.
In Naples the flop was even more marked: in fact the final turnout at the polls in the city is 8,47%. At the last survey at 19 pm the turnout was 5,83%. The final turnout at the last elections held in Naples, the municipal elections of October 2021, was 47,17%.
