On October 6, the trial resumes before the Court of Naples against the three boys, a Neapolitan, a Palermitan and a resident of Capua, accused of the crimes of defamation aggravated by the use of the social media Facebook and death threats against the Rai journalist, Claudia Marra, correspondent of I Fatti Vostri.
The journalist was following the case of the three Neapolitans who disappeared in Mexico and after the Facebook live broadcast of one of their relatives, who was supposed to be interviewed by the journalist but refused because he did not accept the script that Rai would have imposed on him, according to him, heavy controversy and insults followed.
Hence the complaint filed and the referral to trial before the Court of Naples, IV section, Judge Dr. Bardari, with the first hearing held on May 26. The lawyer of the journalist Claudia Marra, the lawyer Stile, and the RAI Journalists Union with the lawyer Vasaturo and the entire RAI crew in tow have requested the constitution of the civil party.
The position of the defendant from Capua was separated due to unavailability and postponed to the hearing in February 2023. The hearing was postponed to 6 October 2022, where the many preliminary issues will be discussed, also considering that Judge Dr. Bardari was absent today and replaced by Dr. Iorio.
