Due to a technical problem, there have been significant delays on the Naples-Rome high-speed line since 7am this morning.
Traffic has been significantly slowed on the Naples-Rome high-speed line where, at 7 this morning, a technical problem occurred with the electrical power line supplying the trains, making the line unavailable and causing 4 high-speed trains to stop.
Train delays of up to 100 minutes
This was announced by RFI (Ferrovie dello Stato group), explaining that the AV trains between Naples and Rome have been rerouted via Cassino or via Formia, with travel times extended by up to 90/100 minutes.

The slowdowns inevitably affect the entire AV backbone. For the passengers of the trains involved, RFI further specifies, assistance has been provided at the station, on board and transfer for those who remained stuck on the line. RFI technicians are on site to verify the causes and restore the power line and reactivate circulation on both tracks of the AV line.
