The Equalizer' with Denzel Washington: set between Atrani and Minori. Last week of filming on the Amalfi Coast for the third chapter of the action movie 'The Equalizer', starring Denzel Washington, directed by Antoine Fuqua.
The set is concentrated between Atrani and Minori mainly for night action scenes, including murders, daring accidents, fires and shootings. Among the scenes, also a procession with a fake statue and a funeral.
The mayor of Atrani, Luciano De Rosa Laderchi, in a note warns the citizens that from today, Tuesday 15 November, and until Saturday 19, night filming will be carried out between the square and the main street, between 20pm and 4am, with the use of firearms.
These will be the last inconveniences for the population of Atrani, forced to live with the inconveniences caused by the film's production needs for exactly two months.
In fact, from Monday 21 November, the set will move to Naples for a few days, then to CineCittà for the last takes. Filming on the Amalfi Coast began last 10 October, while preparations for the main set in Atrani began on 19 September with the closure of all commercial establishments adapted by the production.
