Tensions are rising in Ponticelli but so are the attention of investigators and the concern of citizens after the second arson attack in less than a week in Lot zero.
Yesterday a series of searches were carried out in the area in search of all the useful elements to get to the perpetrators of the arson raids on the boss's family Domenico Amitrano ditto “Mimmo o' pop” or “Mimì a' puttana”. In one week the cars of the sister and daughter were set on fire.
The latest in chronological order is the one that occurred shortly before dawn yesterday in via Cleopatra where a Fiat Panda in use by the 41 year old Annamaria Amitrano known as “Rag Doll”, sister of the boss Domenico (arrested on December 2nd after a short period on the run).
On Thursday night - as Il Roma recalls - it was the turn of Jeep Renegade of the daughter of “Mimmo o' pop”, namesake of her aunt. In that case the police and the Carabinieri also evaluated the hypothesis that the intimidation was aimed at the Ronza di Barra group: the car was usually driven by Pasquale Ronza, son-in-law of "Mimì". But the new fire changes the scenario and makes it clear that the objective of the De Micco it is precisely the Amitrano family, allies of the historical enemies of the De Luca Bossa.
