De Luca announces: “We will hire another 5 young people in local authorities.”
“We will launch another competition to hire five thousand young people in local authorities. I invite local authorities to send us data on the gaps in the staffing plans”. The President of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, announced this during the end-of-year press conference.
Then he explained: "The real revolution is not that of words. The real revolution is to change reality in facts. Only those who have had to deal with public administration know the enormous effort it takes to get things done", he added.
“We are launching the challenge of bureaucratization and dynamization of the State. This is what the productive categories are asking for”. "By 2023 we plan to completely eliminate the European sanction."
The announcement was made during a press conference by the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, referring to the sanction imposed on Italy for waste management in Campania.
“I think that today – added the governor – the Italian government will start asking Europe to eliminate another third of the European fine, which is 120 thousand euros per day for environmental infringement. We have already reduced it by a third and, having completed the plants for the treatment of eco-bales, we can ask for the removal of another third”. The goal for the future is “accelerate on composting plants - said De Luca - to make Campania fully autonomous for the waste cycle".
