Problems with replacement bus service, Eav explains what happened
“Given that the replacement service is not managed directly by Eav but it is entrusted to a external private company who won a regular race, the episode referred to happened yesterday at 13.15 pm when the bus had just left from Vico Equense", reads a note.
“After about 500 meters some CHILDREN fools they violently activated the emergency handle of port causing thearrest of the vehicle, which occurs automatically for safety reasons. In order to avoid inconvenience to users, a second bus arrived a couple of minutes later (as it was already present in the Vico station), picking up the travellers and taking them to Castellammare".

“In the meantime the bus that had stopped has resumed the race after 10 minutes, necessary to carry out the reset maneuvers of the door control unit, and restarted in the rotation of the scheduled trips without, therefore, causing cancellations".
“Regarding the broken down bus, shown in some published photos – it explains further – the bus actually had a breakdown but after having provided passenger service. The event did not alter the regular running of the service in any way”.
