Portici, another theft of car wheels: councilor reports. The complaint of the city councilor Francesco Portoghese: “More men and resources are needed”
Once again a theft of wheels from cars. It happened in Portici where, this morning, in via IV Novembre an Alfa Romeo Stelvio was found without all four tires.
To support the weight, two tuff bricks and two jacks respectively. The episode was documented with photos and videos by the Pd city councilor, Francesco Portoghese.
“This morning in via IV Novembre, at my request, the State Police also came”, explains in a video “I thank those few police forces that are in Portici and that do their duty”.
Reached by telephone, Portuguese added: “I also sent a request via certified email to the attention of the Police Chief and the Prefect on the security issue, asking for more forces”.
Similar incidents have also occurred in the past in the area, promptly reported by the city councilor. And in recent days Portoghese in a petition addressed to the Carabinieri, State Police and Municipal Police asked, together with a large number of residents, for greater controls on Piazza Gravina, Via Zuppetta, Via Rossano, Via IV Novembre, Viale D'Amore and Via De Gregorio.
