The Naples Police Chief has adopted 7 measures banning access to sporting events (DASPO), lasting 4 years, against four Abate fans and three Ercolano fans.
During the half-time break of the AC Sant'Antonio Abate 1971-ASDSporting Club Ercolanese football match, played last September 14 at the “Vigilante Varone” stadium, the two factions of fans invaded the pitch and clashed armed with belts, clubs, helmets and sticks; for this reason, they were reported for pitch invasion during sporting events and brawling.
Furthermore, four other provisions, of the same duration, were issued against four other Abate fans because, at the end of the same football match, they had thrown objects both against the opposing fans' bus and against that of the visiting team, causing the side windows and the windshield of the latter to break; therefore, they had been reported for throwing dangerous material during sporting events and damage.
Finally, two other Daspos, lasting two years, were issued against a 25-year-old from Torre del Greco who, during the filtering services of the Turris-Foggia match played last December 18 at the “Liguori” stadium, was found in possession of three torches, and was therefore reported for possession of pyrotechnic devices during sporting events.
The other measure, however, was imposed on a 22-year-old from Foggia who, during the same match, had thrown a firecracker between the stands and the boundary wall of the pitch and had been reported for throwing dangerous material during sporting events.
