The Provincial Command of Naples, following the intensification of controls on the territory, also to contrast the growing phenomenon of the illegal marketing of counterfeit products, has identified and seized, in the Municipality of San Giuseppe Vesuviano, a 200 m18.000 warehouse, with over XNUMX products reproducing the brand SSC Napoli.
In particular, i “Green Berets” of the Emergency Response Group Napoli they dismantled one of the supply chains of the products illegitimately linked to the Neapolitan team, identifying a Moroccan citizen, who, starting from the Vesuvian town, distributed the goods which would then be placed in the areas most frequented by tourists, such as via Toledo, Mergellina, the historic center, near the “Maradona” stadium and in the various local markets of the most populous neighborhoods of the city.
Among the thousands of counterfeit items, many bore, in addition to the brand name, SSC Napoli, also the Emporio Armani “EA7” logo.
At the end of the operations, thenon-EU citizen was reported to the Judicial Authority for the crimes of counterfeiting and receiving stolen goods.
The goods sold would have brought in at least 800 thousand euros
The seized goods, if placed on the market, would have generated an illicit profit estimated at over 800.000 euros.
The operation is part of the device to combat commercial abuse and counterfeiting, to protect legality.
