Guerrilla scenes in the centre of Napoli. Cars speeding against other people in Santa Lucia. Punches, slaps, death threats, vandalism and a car speeding against pedestrians. Scenes of urban guerrilla warfare in the center of Naples, in via Generale Giordano Orsini, a few meters from the headquarters of the Campania Region.
In the video released by the Dire agency, the images of the furious fight between motorists that took place in the late afternoon of last Saturday, Easter Eve. The road, parallel to the Neapolitan seafront, becomes the scene of violence at the height of an altercation whose origins are unknown.
First the threats “I have to shoot you”, then one of the men involved punctures the tires of a taxi. Finally, a car at full speed intentionally hits people. The conditions of those involved are unknown and there are no reports of interventions by law enforcement on site.
“It is useful to know that that area is infested by violent and clan-linked illegal parking attendants and by various criminals including robbers, muggers and drug dealers of all ages who I have repeatedly reported. We have decided to send the images to the police to try to identify the protagonists of this story and understand if the police intervened.
We have been asking for this air to be cleaned up for a long time and instead it is becoming increasingly dangerous to go there and live there especially at night or on holidays. Decent people are afraid and must be protected” declares the deputy of the Green Alliance – the Left Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
