Yesterday morning an officer from the police station Saint Ferdinand, off duty, while walking in a private park on via Santa Lucia Filippini, he noticed a man on a moped who was trying to pass some iron posts placed at the entrance to the pedestrian crossing of the park.
The officer identified himself and invited him to use the designated vehicle access gate, but the driver cursed the operator and then hit him several times on the head with a helmet; finally, he walked away, pushing the vehicle.
The policeman contacted 113 while following the man and, with the support of a patrol car from the General Prevention Office that arrived on the scene, he was stopped in Corso Garibaldi. A 33-year-old Neapolitan was arrested for assault and resisting a Public Official.
