“All that has been done in the last two years has not been enough, the sentence on the merits for the 'eviction of the squatters of Necklace' has been postponed to July 18th”. This was declared by Councillor Muscarà, the main promoter of the resistance initiatives to guarantee the public management of the plant.
“A bad feeling and a 'Liberation Day' for those who live in that stadium, continually postponed! For some time I have been asking the Region to take its responsibilities, considering that the fault is only its own, organizing with Arus and Coni for a handover that is finally a harbinger of a healthy, legitimate and transparent public management; instead, the times still seem biblical.
If there were to be yet another postponement, in September the risk is to find the 'illegal' people managing the stadium again. We recall that with sentence number 3635, the Council of State rejected the appeal of the Giano company, returning the stadium to the hands of the Campania Region

A long, never-ending story: the Commissioner's report was not enough, despite the fact that the management of Giano had been revoked by the TAR towards the end of 2022, a series of irregularities and illegalities were recognized that also resulted in criminal proceedings. Now we still have to wait for the eviction sentence on July 18th!” concludes the councilor!
