Next Thursday the workers of the cleaning contract of Palazzo Farnese will Castellammare di Stabia and other municipal offices will strike for the whole day, occupying the spaces in front of the municipal building.
The news was given by Filcams-Cgil Campania. The strike, the union specifies, was called "against the cut in cleaning services decided by the Prefectural Commission of the City of Stabia: this decision puts at risk the employment and salary protection of the historical employees of the contractor 'Romeo Gestioni SpA'".
The regional secretariat of Filcams Cgil Campania "expresses full solidarity with the workers and hopes for the start of an immediate discussion with the parties to ensure employment stability and work continuity for all units currently in service in the contract".
