Starting tomorrow, Saturday 1st July, the fare adjustments for using the Faito cable car, whose departure point for the mountain is located close to the Circumvesuviana station in Castellammare di Stabia, will come into effect.
The Autonomous Volturno Authority, which manages the service, has communicated this and has made it known how "pursuant to the decree of the General Directorate for Mobility number 101 of 23 June 2023, the new tariffs for the Castellammare di Stabia-Monte Faito cableway service will come into force starting from XNUMX July".
In highlighting that "the cableway performs a dual function of a public service providing a stable connection between the inhabited centres of the municipalities of Castellammare di Stabia, Vico Equense and Pimonte, as well as a tourist promotion service for the use of the Monte Faito landscape area", Eav remembers as from tomorrow "the 'resident' tariff concession, already foreseen for residents in the municipalities of Castellammare di Stabia and Vico Equense, is also extended to those of Pimonte".
These are the new rates: Single ticket 6,50 euros, return 9,50; return under 18 3,60; return residents 5,90; bicycle transport 1,20; monthly pass 45,00 euros.
