Last day the officers of the Police Station Pozzuoli, with the collaboration of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the “Toiano District”.
During the operations, 106 people were identified, 30 of whom had previous police records, 43 vehicles were checked and 4 violations of the Highway Code were reported for failure to have periodic inspections, failure to show circulation documents and driving without using a seat belt.
The checks, on the orders of the Police Chief of Napoli, will be intensified throughout the Phlegraean territory, in the week surrounding Ferragosto, days in which an increase in tourists is expected throughout the area.
