A macabre discovery has been made by French police in an apartment in Perpignan, where officers found the body of a 7-year-old boy partially frozen in the bathtub.
The child's father, a 28-year-old man, was arrested and taken into custody, along with the child's uncle, a 33-year-old man.
The police arrived at the fourth-floor apartment from which the call to the funeral home had been made, but no one answered.

At the same time, the police were informed that two girls aged 2 and 3 had been admitted to the Perpignan hospital centre, presenting multiple traces of trauma. It was quickly discovered that the little girls were the sisters of the dead child.
It is a mystery how the little sisters got to the hospital, whether they were accompanied by their father or someone else. In any case, the children's uncle was also taken into custody.
The Perpignan prosecutor's office has opened an investigation for murder, attempted murder, violence against minors under fifteen, concealment of a corpse, forgery and use of forgery, and kidnapping.
