The second day of the “Venice in Naples. Extended Cinema” festival, Tuesday 24 October, opens at 17:30 pm at the Cinema Astra with the film “Sèr Sèr Salhi (City of wind)” by Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir, a film shot in Mongolia, Orizzonti Award for Best Actor awarded to Tergel Bold-Erdene, which tells the story of a young man who studies hard to succeed in the cold and brutal Mongolian society.
And young are also the protagonists of “Paradiset brinner (Paradise is burning)” by Mika Gustafson, scheduled for 19:30 pm in the same room introduced by a video greeting from the director. Orizzonti Award and Pedicini Award for best direction, the Swedish film brings to the big screen the adventures of three sisters abandoned to their electronic devices by an absent mother.
Tomorrow the mornings with restored classics dedicated to schools begin. At the La Perla cinema in Bagnoli, Luchino Visconti's “Bellissima” will be shown in the 4K version produced by CSC – Fondazione Cineteca Nazionale di Roma. The initiative, aimed at high school students, is taking place thanks to the support of the Municipality of Naples.

The festival is organized by Parallelo 41 Produzioni in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II, with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture, the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples and in synergy with a vast network of partners.
