Tomorrow in Naples, all schools of all levels, including private ones, and cemeteries will be closed.
This is what is stated in an ordinance issued by Mayor Gaetano Manfredi in light of the orange weather alert issued by the Civil Protection Department starting at 21:24 PM tonight and lasting for XNUMX hours. “The general weather conditions forecast – it is written – appear very severe in terms of winds, taking into account the monitoring of the existing risk potential”.
Hence the adoption of "contingent and urgent measures aimed at averting the danger and protecting the physical integrity of the city population".
The Mayor of CASERTA, Carlo Marino, has issued an ordinance for the closure, for tomorrow, of public city schools of all levels including municipal nursery schools, non-state schools, private schools and institutes, except universities.
The ordinance was made necessary, as stated in a note, following the weather alert issued by the Unified Regional Operations Room (SORU) of the Civil Protection of the Campania Region "due to expected adverse weather conditions for civil protection purposes due to weather, hydrogeological and hydraulic risks".
From 21 pm today until 21 pm tomorrow, an orange alert level (criticality level) is expected consisting of the following significant phenomena: "strong or locally very strong winds, mainly south-westerly with gusts, easing in the morning; scattered precipitation, including showers or thunderstorms, locally of strong intensity, from the night onwards".
The Municipality of Caserta recommends that citizens limit their travel to what is strictly necessary and behave prudently.
