Anomalous heat on New Year's Eve, in Italy up to 15 degrees. 2023 will end with exceptional anomalous heat.
According to the weather forecast, December 31 will be a mild day throughout Italy, with temperatures up to 15 degrees in Sicily.
In the morning the weather will be dry almost everywhere, but from the afternoon, and especially in the evening, snowfall is expected in the Alps and rain between Liguria, Tuscany and the Tyrrhenian coast.
At midnight, in Genoa, Milan, Venice, Trieste, Florence, Rome and Naples, temperatures will range from 7 to 12 degrees.
It will be warm even in the mountains, especially on the Apennine ridge, while in the Alps we will have the magical landscape of fluttering snowflakes.
Between December 31st and January 1st, snowfall in the Alps will extend up to about 1300 meters above sea level. In the days before New Year's Eve, the weather will be gray in the plains, with sunshine in the mountains.
The North African anticyclone will make the weather monotonous until Sunday, with wider clearings in the South and on the Adriatic side. A decidedly warm New Year's Eve, in line with the climatic trends of recent years.
