Tuesday 19 December 19:30 Sanctuary of San Giuseppe in concert Emanuele Pio Zupo.
The “Note d'Arte” initiative of the Municipality of Sant'Agnello is underway, as part of the “ViviAmo il Natale” event program, sponsored by the Metropolitan City of Naples.
This is a review strongly desired by the Mayor Antonino Coppola and the Councilor for Tourism Marcello Aversa, dedicated to the rediscovery of the places of the territory and to the knowledge of the cultural and artistic heritage, sometimes hidden, often little known.
The artistic director and art historian Assunta Vanacore will guide you on this journey, illustrating the works present in the locations chosen for the concerts. A format that, as the name of the event, “Note d'Arte” suggests, alternates moments of dissemination and musical performances.
Tuesday 19 December at 19:30 pm the Sanctuary of San Giuseppe will host the first event. For the occasion the protagonist of the musical part will be Emanuel Pio Zupo, a very young virtuoso pianist from the Sorrento peninsula, winner of numerous prestigious international prizes.
Born in Naples on October 10, 2003, he began studying piano at the Torquato Tasso middle school with a musical focus in Sorrento. From 2016 to 2019 he continued his studies privately with Maestro Pietro Gatto, heir of the Russian piano school. From September 2019 to 2022 he was under the guidance of Maestro Rubén Talón, an internationally renowned Spanish concert pianist at the ESMAR (Education for High Performance Music) in Valencia, Spain; of which Maestro Talón is director of the piano department.

He has attended numerous Masterclasses with world-famous pianists such as: Alexander Romanovsky (First Prize at the Ferruccio Busoni Competition), Federico Colli (First Prize at the Leeds Competition) and Anna Kravtchenko (teacher at the Lugano Conservatory in Switzerland). Since November 2022 his mentor has been the Maestro and Artistic Director Paolo Scibilia.
