Great participation of the community of Lettere in the awareness initiative of Velia Ambiente, promoted by the mayor of Lettering, Anna Amendola, and the Environment Councilor, Giuseppe Giordano. The event, dedicated to the enhancement of separate waste collection, saw the distribution of bins in strategic areas of the territory this morning. An initiative that is in addition to the ecological day of January 3 in Piazza Roma, also in Lettere.
The Velia Ambiente gazebo successfully covered several areas of the territory, respecting the established times to best involve residents. From 09:00 to 11:00, the gazebo animated the Salette area, followed by the Pagliano area from 11:00 to 12:00. The San Paolo area was involved from 12:00 to 13:00, while the distribution continued in the Capomazzo area from 13:00 to 14:00.
Also present were Mayor Anna Amendola and Councilor Giuseppe Giordano. These initiatives aim to increase the percentage of separate waste collection, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing the negative impact on the local ecosystem.
The distribution of the bins is just the first step towards a more aware and committed community in protecting the environment. Together, we can build a more sustainable future for Lettere.
