A new exhibition space in the city of Naples dedicated to art. Arena Flegrea Indoor is born and announces a major international exhibition: “The World of Bansky – The Immersive Experience, for the first time in Naples starting next October.
Arena Flegrea Indoor is the new exhibition space of the city of Naples. A new location designed to host exhibitions, shows and major events all year round, set up in the foyer of the Arena Flegrea, at the Mostra d'Oltremare. A welcoming and well-equipped space, accessible to all, which has 4000 square meters indoors, with refreshment points and various services and which aims to become one of the main cultural centers of the Neapolitan city.
The largest open-air arena in Southern Italy is thus expanding its range of action, hosting, from this year onwards, not only concerts and live shows, but also indoor events aimed at a diverse audience.
After the success of the international event “Brick Live” (March 15 – April 14, 2024), dedicated to the world of the legendary LEGO® bricks, which has already attracted over 15 thousand visitors, the Arena Flegrea Indoor now announces a new major exhibition for next autumn. From October 11, 2024 to May 4, 2025, Naples will embrace the art of Banksy with a revolutionary exhibition: “The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience”.
With the incredible mastery of the mysterious artist from Bristol – known for his provocative approach and his ability to channel critical thinking through art – this immersive exhibition presents over 30 works by Banksy, including “Ozone Angel”, “Steve Jobs”, “Napoleon” and “Waiting In Vain”, alongside creations and murals by young anonymous artists from all over Europe. An exhibition itinerary that offers a close look at more than 130 works that narrate the world of the enigmatic British artist, famous for his ironic take on political and social issues.
Alongside the iconic works that have made Banksy a global point of reference, the exhibition produced by L'Artistica srl includes a special video section that reveals the history and social message behind the famous murals scattered across the streets of the world.
After leaving an indelible mark in cities like Rome, Milan and Turin and having travelled an itinerary that crossed Paris, Barcelona, Prague, Brussels and Dubai, Banksy's works finally arrive in Naples, a vibrant and welcoming city, where every day new experiences await travellers from all over the world.
The World of Banksy is an exciting and thought-provoking journey into the heart of contemporary creativity and street art.
Tickets to visit the Banksy exhibition at the Arena Flegrea Indoor are already available for pre-sale starting today, Monday 8 April, on the ETES circuit and at authorised sales points.
