A worker fell from a scaffolding of over 10 meters while working in a hotel in Marina Grande, in CapriThe man, a fifty-year-old non-resident on the island, suffered serious trauma and was transported by helicopter to the Ospedale del Mare in Naples.
The worker was on suspended scaffolding connected to an overhanging terrace when he lost his balance and fell to the ground.
His colleagues at work were the first to help him and immediately called 118.
The doctors who arrived on the scene found that the man had suffered several injuries, including facial trauma, but was still conscious.
The officers of the Capri police station carried out the surveys to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
The causes of the fall are being investigated, which could have been caused by illness or human error.
The man was initially transported to the Capilupi hospital in Capri for first aid.
Subsequently, due to the seriousness of his condition, he was transferred by helicopter to the Ospedale del Mare in Naples. He is currently hospitalized with a reserved prognosis.
