On May 23, IBM Studios in Milan will become the crossroads where young talents, students and partners will meet to make their mark on the world, with a focus on high-level education.
The FuturaMente event is the result of a co-organization between Giffoni Innovation Hub and Civicamente, enjoying the patronage of the Municipality of Milan. The festival aims to be an incubator of creativity and innovative ideas for the new generations, who will be involved in an open dialogue on topics of social relevance such as education, gender equality, environmental sustainability and fighting climate change.
Stimulating the Knowledge and Engagement of New Generations
The festival will feature a range of interactive activities ranging from calls to action to debates, masterclasses and interactive observatories, aimed at encouraging young people to explore and analyse key issues. Discussions will be promoted on how these issues directly impact both opportunities and challenges in the daily lives of individuals.
Multidisciplinary Approaches: Science, Art and Society
Well-known personalities from the world of science and art, such as 'La Fisica Che Ci Piace' by Vincenzo Schettini, Barbascura X, Clara Soccini and Davide Avolio will participate in the event to share their perspectives and encourage constructive dialogue. Themes such as the importance of the perception of beauty in today's society and the role of poetics in expressing contemporary discomforts will be addressed.
Education for the Future: Financial Education and Sustainability
To stimulate financial awareness in young minds, BPER and Unicredit Banking Academy will offer workshops and activities related to financial education. In addition, a musical component will be introduced by Clara Soccini in collaboration with UNICEF, exploring the impact of music on the well-being of young people.
Promote Environmental Sustainability
FuturaMente pays great attention to sustainability, encouraging active participation of participants in debates and actions aimed at safeguarding the planet, such as the national cleanup supported by Piantando and the debate on conscious water consumption.
Stimulating Creativity: Creative Challenges and Speeches
Entertainment will be provided by Valerio Lundini and Edoardo Ferrario, who will listen to the pitches of young screenwriters, while a screenwriting challenge supported by ITA Airways will give participants the opportunity to project their vision for the future of air mobility.
Social Inclusion and Personal Growth
The festival does not neglect the importance of social inclusion, giving space to testimonies and initiatives such as those of AIAS. In parallel, other organizations such as Habacus and 4Books will highlight themes related to personal growth and skills development.
