Collaboration with Anghiari Dance Hub
After the first evenings of April, the Körper will host the young choreographers of Anghiari Dance Hub. The KörpermeetsAnghiariDanceHub project, directed by Gerarda Ventura, continues its collaboration with the Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza. The works presented in November 2023 in Anghiari will enrich the 2024 program, with shows such as “Light leaks from a black moon – an orphic journey” by Pierandrea Rosato and “Antologia Notturna” by Massimo Monticelli.
Light leaks from a black moon – an orphic journey
“Light leaks from a black moon – an orphic journey” by Pierandrea Rosato presents itself as a journey of self-discovery, an attempt to dissolve situations from temporal complexity. It compares the unconscious and the structure of the dream, seeking a positive overlap with the Theater and the creation of scenes of fictitious reality. The performance offers a journey into the theatrical dimension, full of apparitions and dreamlike suggestions, but also of an unconscious world that emerges in a context of intimacy and curiosity.
Massimo Monticelli's Night Anthology
“Antologia Notturna” by Massimo Monticelli is a collection of moving poems, animated by two bodies, a microphone and a loop station. Set in a nocturnal landscape, the performance explores choreo-poetic compositions, linguistic signs, syntactic enigmas and absurd conversations. The intertwining of dance and poetry manifests itself through a daily writing process marked by the rhythms of the moon, creating a hybrid and erratic anthology. This empty space becomes the place where movement, word and sound come together to create a poetic and poietic generation, always in continuous evolution.
