The Glocal Education Fair, an international meeting on the theme of education involving twenty-two nations from all continents, will be held in Yeosu, South Korea.
Italy, selected by the Korean Ministry of Education, will be represented by a delegation formed by the director Rosa Delia Ruta and the teachers Domenico “Mico” Argirò, Michele Morena and Fabiana Proietti.
Mico Argirò, from Agropoli (SA), has already made a name for himself over the years as a singer-songwriter, with albums of national importance and important collaborations, and, recently, also as a writer with the book “Le metro invisibili” (published by Edizioni Underground, Milan).
A great achievement for the Cilento Argirò, increased by the letters of thanks from the minister Valditara, who expresses deep appreciation for the commitment shown by the director and teachers, and from the director of the school office of Lombardia Volta, who expresses satisfaction for the successes of this scholastic excellence.
The delegation will address the issue of school inclusion of foreign students and literacy, illustrating the measures implemented over the years; title of the booth and of the interventions: “Fostering cultural inclusivity and literacy”.
The Glocal Education Fair will be held from May 29 to June 2 at Expo Ocean Park in Yeosu, where delegations from around the world, top Korean education officials, and visiting schools from across the state and neighboring states are expected to attend.
