This afternoon, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Sport and Youth in Rome, a crucial meeting was held between the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi, the minister Andrea Abodi and the president of SSC Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis. At the center of the discussion, the establishment of a technical table for the renovation of the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
Minister Abodi announced that in the coming days he will proceed with the formation of the technical table, with the aim of identifying the most efficient ways to modernize the sports facility. The initiative aims to transform the Maradona stadium into a modern, efficient, accessible and sustainable structure, in line with international standards and in view of future sports competitions.
During the meeting, the parties' willingness to work closely together to create an ambitious project that can enhance the stadium and the city of Naples was reaffirmed. The synergy between the Municipality, the Ministry and the SSC Napoli is seen as a key element for the success of the initiative.
