Naples Weather: Persistent heat with possible drop over the weekend

UAn African promontory looms over the central-western Mediterranean, determining conditions weather dry across much of Italy.

Center: Clear skies in the morning. Localized instability in the Apennines between Marche and Umbria in the afternoon. In the evening, still dry weather with no clouds.

South and Islands: Sunny skies in the morning. Clouds on the peninsular Apennine reliefs in the afternoon with the possibility of brief and isolated showers between Basilicata and Calabria. Intense heat with possible afternoon thunderstorms, especially on the mountains. Maximum temperatures close to 40°C. Starting from Saturday, temperatures are expected to drop, with a return to values ​​more in line with the average for the period.
