Naples Weather: Persistent heat with possible drop over the weekend

An African promontory looms over the central-western Mediterranean, causing conditions weather dry across much of Italy.

Trend for the next few days:

Intense heat with possible afternoon thunderstorms, especially on the mountains. Maximum temperatures close to 40°C. Starting from Saturday, temperatures are expected to drop, with a return to values ​​more in line with the average for the period.
