Night of violence in Naples, with two separate ambushes that left two men injured.

The first episode occurred last night at around 21pm, the second between 30am and 2am this morning.
In the second ambush, a 21-year-old with a criminal record was seriously injured by gunshots to the lower back. The young man was rescued by a passerby in Piazza Canneto in the Arenella area and rushed to the Vecchio Pellegrini Hospital, where he underwent life-saving surgery.
His conditions are serious but slightly improving, although the prognosis remains reserved. The Flying Squad of the Naples Police Headquarters is investigating the incident, which does not exclude any possibility and is verifying whether the place where the young man was injured is actually the one where he was rescued.
33-year-old injured in Forcella
A few hours before the attack on the 21-year-old, a 33-year-old Neapolitan man had shown up at the emergency room of Vecchio Pellegrini with gunshot wounds to his legs.
The man, who also has a criminal record, told the officers of the Montecalvario Police Station, who are investigating the incident, that he had been approached and injured for no reason by a foreigner while he was in Chapel Street in PontenuovoThe 33-year-old was treated and discharged with a 15-day prognosis.
The motives and exact dynamics of the two ambushes are still unclear. Investigators are working on the testimonies collected and the surveys carried out at the crime scene to reconstruct the facts and bring those responsible to justice.
