On Thursday, at the “San Pio” hospital in Benevento, the autopsy of Francesco Di Chiara, a twenty-year-old from Frigento, Avellino, who died in a road accident together with three friends last night in the hamlet of Passo di Mirabella, municipality of Mirabella Eclano, Avellino, will be held.
Di Chiara, driving a powerful Mercedes AMG, tried to avoid an oncoming car while overtaking, but crashed into the wall of a commercial establishment along the Statale 90 delle Puglie.
In the accident, their peers Roy Ciampa and Mattia Ciminera, from Sturno, and Bilal Boussadra, 18, a promising boxer, resident in the Calore district of Mirabella Eclano, died instantly.
The prosecutor of the Benevento Prosecutor's Office, Flavia Felaco, has assigned the coroner Carmen Sementa to perform the autopsy. For the other three boys, only an external examination has been ordered, and their bodies will be returned to their families tomorrow.
The funeral of Bilal Boussadra, who obtained Italian citizenship when he turned 18, will be held in Mirabella Eclano with Muslim rite: his parents, street vendors, have lived in the Irpinia municipality for years.
