Tazenda: chamber rock in the heart of Cilento

Il 6 agosto, Piazza Vittorio Veneto a Reach sarà il palcoscenico per un evento speciale: i Tazenda si esibiranno in trio durante la diciottesima edizione della Festa dell’Antica Pizza Cilentana. Questa celebrazione della cultura territoriale vedrà la partecipazione del trio sardo in un’interpretazione intima e coinvolgente del loro repertorio, sotto la direzione artistica di Michele Pecora e in collaborazione con Melissa Di Matteo.

Theatrical Formula and Intimacy

“Three microphones, two acoustic guitars and a piano. This is the formula that brings us closer to the people,” say the members of Tazenda. On stage, the historical founders Gigi Camedda (piano) and Gino Marielli (guitars), together with the new frontman Nicola Nite (guitars), will offer a performance that combines theatricality and intimacy. Their three voices, accompanied by acoustic instruments, promise to create an atmosphere of great power and emotion. “When we are inspired, we fly, we are moved, our hearts open and we sing. It is always a collective celebration of Sardinianness, even for non-Sardinians.”

Tazenda bring to the stage a musical treasure trove of over one hundred carefully selected songs. Among the most untouchable and beloved are “Pitzinnos in sa gherra”, a sweet and cruel tribute to all the children forced to live in war, and “Nanneddu meu”, which invites the audience to dance. Equally iconic are “Carrasecare”, which takes you back in time, and “Mamoiada”, which ignites nostalgia in the Sardinians of the diaspora.

One of the most anticipated songs is undoubtedly “Spunta la luna da monte”, the Italian version of “Disamparados” presented at Sanremo 1991 with Pierangelo Bertoli. “No Potho reposare” and the mystical “La ricerca di te” cannot be missed. Among the most loved songs are also “No la giamedas Maria”, “Madre Terra”, “Domo mia” (made in collaboration with Eros Ramazzotti) and “Cuore e vento” with Modà.
