A terrible accident this morning claimed the life of a 59-year-old truck driver from Avellino and seriously injured nine Korean tourists heading to the beautiful Amalfi Coast.
The violent impact between a truck and a bus left the roadway strewn with debris and rescuers racing against time to provide first aid to the injured.
The driver of the truck, a 59-year-old man, died instantly, while the passengers of the bus, shaken and injured, were rushed to the “Santa Scolastica” hospital in Cassino.
