The dynamics of the ambush that at dawn on Sunday led to the death of the Pianura boss, Pasquale D'Anna, and the wounding of Massimo Aragiusto who was with him at Piazzale Tecchio in Fuorigrotta have been reconstructed.
Article Key Points
And meanwhile on the social network TikTok there are many celebrations of the chief of the square of Pianura. Many comments and memories. Even his wife posted her memories while someone announced revenge. The investigators have already monitored and acquired the comments.
From an investigative point of view, thanks to the video surveillance images and the testimonies of those present, it was possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the ambush. D'Anna and Aragiusto were talking with two other people, in two cars, when the killer arrived on a scooter. He got out, approached the car from D'Anna's side and opened fire, aiming precisely at the target and hitting him four times through the window.
One of the bullets hit Massimo Aragiusto in the shoulder, who was with him in the car. The two wounded were immediately rescued and transported to the San Paolo hospital, where D'Anna died shortly after admission. Aragiusto, however, was judged curable in a month.
Investigations focused on the Pianura feud
The investigations focused on the world of drug dealing, in particular on the squares connected, but not directly managed, by the Marsicano-Esposito group, now under the control of the Santagatas. D'Anna, according to the investigators, was linked to this environment, and managed a drug dealing square together with the pdare.
Investigators seized D'Anna's cell phone in search of evidence to help identify the instigators of the murder. However, the hypothesis of a fatal appointment seems unlikely, just as it is unlikely that the victim managed his business via phone.
Massimo Aragiusto, wounded by a stray bullet, was found to have no connection to the Camorra or drug trafficking. His presence at the scene of the ambush would have been a tragic coincidence, due to dangerous acquaintances. Aragiusto had already been indirectly involved in the murder of Gennaro Ramondino, when an acquaintance of his, Domenico Di Napoli, had asked to borrow the car used to transport the body. The investigation had cleared Aragiusto of any involvement in the crime.
