Caserta – The Royal Palace of Caserta is preparing to welcome visitors of all ages for a special event: the extraordinary opening of the Graefer Serres.
On April 11 and 12, the public will have the opportunity to explore this botanical jewel, thanks to an initiative organized in collaboration with CoopCulture and the Ati partnership, which involves Royal Garden, Konsilo, Nomea, Cial and ADR restaurauri.
The goal is clear: to bring young people, families and tourists closer to the green heritage of the Royal Park, offering an engaging and immersive experience. The Graefer Greenhouses, with their extraordinary botanical collections, will reveal the crucial role of greenery in monarchic architecture, a symbol of pomp and power.
An adventure for the little ones
For children, exploration will turn into an exciting botanical treasure hunt. A “mystery tour” will lead them in search of a mysterious missing plant, following clues and puzzles hidden among the greenhouses. A fun and interactive way to discover the secrets of botany and the history of the royal gardeners.
Theater and history merge
Also scheduled is a dramatized visit, a real journey through time. Historical figures and gardeners of the time will come to life, transforming the visit into an interactive and engaging adventure.
The recently restored Graefer Greenhouses represent a priceless heritage, a combination of art, history and nature. This event offers a unique opportunity to discover a place of extraordinary beauty, where botany intertwines with the history of the Royal Palace of Caserta.

It would be interesting to see how the event can engage visitors. But I'm not sure if it's really a good idea to bring children to such a large and historic place, it could be difficult to manage the situation.
