Article Key Points
Among the suspects is also Girolamo Finizio, nephew of the boss Michele Siena and cousin of Luigi “Gigi” Finizio, killed in 2023 in an ambush in the Quadraro district.
According to the investigations coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate (DDA) of the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office, the group had set up a real drug dealing square inside the stadium, with a well-structured network that supplied fans during every Roma home game.
Drug trafficking always followed the same pattern: couriers transported the drugs – mainly cocaine and crack – which were then distributed by some members of the group, while the sales took place in the stadium bathrooms.
The suspects belong to the Quadraro Group
+The suspects belong to the Quadraro Group, formerly Feadyn, which occupies the central part of the second ring of the Curva Sud. The investigations, launched in January 2024, documented the supply system, identifying the roles and dynamics of the organization.
Among the six suspects, in addition to Finizio, there are individuals already known to the police. Finizio, in particular, had been involved in the 2020 in the shooting of Paul Ascani, brother-in-law of Robert Spada, together with Adriano D'Arma e Robert Cirillo.
Some of the suspects, also accused of criminal association for the purpose of drug dealing, were questioned by the GIP of the Court of Rome within the framework of the new procedures provided for by the recent judicial reform.
The investigations continue to ascertain any other involvement and ramifications of the criminal organization within the Giallorossi ultras environment.
