Benevento – Tomorrow, Thursday 3 April, at 10 am, the National Relief Hospital Trust “San Pio” will cut the ribbon of six new operating units, in the presence of the President of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca. A significant step forward for Sannio healthcare, which aims to improve the therapeutic offer and patient care with cutting-edge departments.
The new structures
The units that will be inaugurated are:
UOC Otolaryngology
UOC Ophthalmology (hospitalization)
UOSD Audiology and Phonology
UOSD Maxillofacial Surgery and Odontostomatology
UOC Pulmonology
UOSD Invasive thoracic endoscopic procedures
“Renovated spaces, more beds, new services and advanced technological equipment – reads a note from AORN – a richer and more functional healthcare offer for the needs of citizens”.
The inspection and the conference
President De Luca's visit will also include a stop at the "G. Moscati" Pavilion, to check the progress of the works on the new Emergency Department. Afterwards, in the Conference Room of the "Santa Maria delle Grazie" Pavilion, a meeting will be held to present the completed projects, those in progress and future initiatives of the Benevento hospital.

The conclusions will be entrusted to Vincenzo De Luca, while the event will be moderated by the journalist Lorenzo Gambatesa.
A hospital that looks to the future

It is very interesting to see that there are new departments that are being opened to help patients, but I hope that also the care will be improved not only the facilities, because it is important for those in need.
