Messina – The arrest warrant was issued last night for the person presumed responsible for the murder of Sara Campanella, the 22-year-old student originally from Misilmeri (Palermo), brutally stabbed to death yesterday in the city on the Strait.
The Carabinieri of the Messina Provincial Command executed the order, issued by the Peloritan Prosecutor's Office, at the end of an intense manhunt that led to the identification of the suspect: a young university colleague of the victim.
The tragedy occurred in broad daylight, a few steps from the stadium, under the astonished eyes of dozens of passers-by. Sara, fatally shot in the street, had no escape.
The investigations, conducted quickly by the military, immediately focused on the environment frequented by the girl, leading to the arrest of the alleged murderer. A crime that shakes the Messina community and leaves open questions about the motivations of such a brutal act.

It is truly sad that a young life was taken in this way. I do not understand how something like this can happen, especially in a public place where everyone can see. I hope that justice will be done as soon as possible.
