Tufino, the new organic waste treatment plant starts

This morning, at Tufino, the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca visited the new plant intended for the treatment of the organic fraction from separate waste collection for a potential of 13.500 tons per year.

The system will allow, starting from the Organic waste, to generate a finished product – compost – which will be used in agriculture and floriculture in full circular economy perspective.

All environmental measures have also been adapted with the construction of two new washing towers and a new biofilter for processing. Campania continues its path as a virtuous Region in terms of integrated waste cycle”.
