“Between Us”: the plot
The story revolves around Salvatore and Antonio, a couple in a civil union after a four-year relationship. A year into their engagement, Salvatore finds himself in crisis, realizing that he no longer loves Antonio, except as a friend. He faces a difficult choice: leave Antonio to seek a new beginning or remain in a situation of emotional safety, while being aware of Antonio's love for him. This dilemma reflects a crucial stage of emotional maturity.
Profile of the author
Christian Coduto, born in Castellamonte in 1976, has a background in Biological Sciences and has worked in various sectors, including waste disposal and demographic services. He is currently employed by the Municipality of Maddaloni. Coduto has collaborated with online newspapers as a film reviewer and interviewer, and is the founder and Artistic Director of the Independent Duel of Caserta, a festival dedicated to independent Italian cinema. Since 2023, he has been president of Apple Pie Arcigay Avellino. His previous works include the novel “Spalla@Spalla – Le (dis)avventure di Carlo&Luana” from 2018 and the coming-of-age novel “Ma perché non te ne vai?” from 2022.

I feel that the new novel by Coduto could be interesting but I don't know if I will like it, the plot seems a bit complex and with difficult situations to deal with. I hope to read something clearer.
