A tragic accident shook yesterday evening on the A16 Naples-Canosa, bringing to light the drama of road accidents.
A 60-year-old man from Ariano Irpino, well-known in the trade fair sector, lost his life following a violent collision. The car, in which he was traveling with his wife and the driver, was involved in an impact near the Tufino toll booth.
The consequences were very serious: the man was transported to the hospital in Avellino where he died in the following hours due to the serious injuries he suffered.
An unfortunate fate that left family members and acquaintances shocked. The wife and the friend who was driving the vehicle were hospitalized in Naples and Nola, showing signs of injuries that, fortunately, do not appear to be fatal.
The dynamics of the accident are still being clarified, but what happened calls into question road safety, a problem that continues to claim victims every year.
