The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella has been discharged from the Santo Spirito hospital and is at the Quirinale.
The head of state had undergone surgery on Tuesday evening in a Roman hospital where he underwent an operation to implant a pacemaker: a planned event that nevertheless attracted a wave of unexpected attention.
The operation
Having arrived at Santo Spirito after completing the commitments scheduled in the agenda, the President of the Republic he was admitted to the hospital for a scheduled pacemaker implantation.
Wishes for a speedy recovery have come from across the constitutional spectrum, starting with the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, the presidents of the two Chambers, high state officials and also the president of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

The news of President Mattarella being discharged from the hospital is a positive thing, but I wonder if everything went well with the pacemaker intervention, I hope he recovers soon and without problems.
