June 1st and 2nd at the Archaeological Park of Ercolano free entrance

The Ercolano Archaeological Park is preparing to welcome the public for a special weekend: on June 1st and 2nd 2025, admission will be free, thanks to the double event promoted by the Ministry of Culture as part of national initiatives in museums. Two days dedicated to art, memory and participation, with a rich calendar of events for all ages.

Sunday 1st June: #DomenicalMuseo and an Invitation to Sustainability

On Sunday, June 1st, #domenicalmuseo returns , opening the doors of cultural sites free of charge every first Sunday of the month. The Ercolano Park offers not only free admission, but also a deeper experience: visitors are invited to reflect on the importance of sustainability during their visit, caring for the spaces that preserve collective memory and cultural heritage.

Among the events scheduled, a guided tour of the suggestive Villa Sora, organized by the Gruppo Archeologico Vesuviano, scheduled from 10.30 to 12.45. At the same time, at Villa Campolieto, it will be possible to visit (with a paid ticket) the exhibition “From eggs to apples. The civilization of food and the pleasures of the table”, a journey into the food and convivial habits of the ancient world.

Monday 2nd June: Republic Day between Culture and Ancient Flavours

Special opening with educational tours and reopening of the House of the Bronze Herm

Also on Monday 2 June, on the occasion of the Italian Republic Day, the Park will remain open with free admission from 8.30:19.30 to 18.00:11.30 (last admission at XNUMX:XNUMX). The program includes activities for adults, families and history buffs, including an educational tour of the exhibition “From eggs to apples” at Villa Campolieto, scheduled for XNUMX:XNUMX (admission fee).

The highlight of the day will be the reopening to the public of the House of the Bronze Herm, which has been reopened after careful restoration and enhancement work, which has restored its original charm.
