Afragola – Machine guns, pistols, a shotgun and almost 500 bullets: this is what the Carabinieri found in an apartment in Afragola, where Pasquale Confuorto, a 32-year-old local man already known to the police, was arrested.
During the search, the military personnel of the Casalnuovo branch found nine firearms, including a .22 caliber revolver, a 357 Magnum, a Beretta APX, a 9×21 caliber Tanfoglio, a 7.65 caliber, a 5.56 caliber Norico AK submachine gun, a 9 caliber submachine gun and a Franchi SPAS-12 pump-action shotgun, famous for being used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the film Terminator.
In addition to the arsenal, 97 grams of hashish were also found. Confuorto was transferred to the Secondigliano prison. The weapons will now be subjected to ballistic and fingerprint tests to verify any possible connection with criminal episodes.
